The Ritz Creamed Corn

Ingredients:

2 Packages (20 ounces) frozen kernel corn

8 Ounces (1/2 pint) whipping cream

8 Ounces (1/2 pint) homogenized milk

1 Teaspoon salt

6 Teaspoon sugar

Pinch white or cayenne pepper

2 Tablespoons melted butter

2 Tablespoons flour

Directions:

Combine all ingredients except last two in a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Blend butter with flour, add to the corn, mix well and remove from heat. Put finished corn in a heat proof casserole, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and place under a broiler till evenly browned.

Dot with butter!

TIP: Can use small individual ramekins
