Tartar Sauce

Ingredients:

1 large jar mayonnaise

1 large "deli" pickle (This is the trick, must be a deli pickle)

1 large onion (I like Maui or Vidalia)

2 tablespoons mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons white wine

1 tablespoon sugar

Salt/pepper

Lemon juice to taste

Directions:

Chop pickle, onion and mustard VERY fine. Put in food processor. Add remaining ingredients and blend to a smooth consistency. Lasts forever in the fridge.

Vegan option: Use Vegenaise instead of mayonnaise.

I use this sauce on everything!

Tuna and egg salad = use instead of mayonnaise.

Blackened salmon tacos.

Serve with any white fish.

This recipe is so versatile and worth the effort, it's simple but the flavor is rich and deep.
